Caught the 10/22 bug, after the suppressor was paroled a couple weeks back. I used a gift card and some Cabela's points to pick up a TacSol threaded barrel on the cheap, along with a Magpul X22 stock (turns out, I like it better than the Hogue it replaced). It's sporting a Ruger BX trigger, for now, but I'll order up a Kidd soon enough. I loved the one on Steve's rifle!

The Gemtech 42gr ammo shoots amazingly well, with CCI 40gr Std Velocity and Norma's subsonic HPs close behind. The American Eagle 45gr Suppressor ammo is pretty good, with the plated bullet and all, but it's not quite as accurate as the others. For only $32 a brick, though, it's plenty good enough for quantity consumption.

Blazer remains the best rimfire ammo I've found, for the money, but it's awfully noisy. 😁

I just picked up a TacSol myself as a lightweight option for rimfire steel challenge or maybe to slaughter a squirrel or two...

This one's all about speed and lightweight. I slapped an extra little Leupold 3-9 EFR on it and it impressed me with SK Standard. It's not my normal thing at all, but I'll tote it a few times just to keep the hordes of squirrels in check....

I love my tacsol 10/22 barrel. Light and shoots better than it should. Will have their 22/45 upper soon enough.

I need to do an ammp roundup

My 10/22 plans took some sidetracks but I’m getting there! Put together a Charger and a 22/45 and picked up a 22 suppressor along the way. The KIDD barrel is no joke even being an “ultralight”. Next I’ll have to get one of his triggers
