The Kid outgrew his plastic Remington BDL youth stock and wanted a DBM for his rifle. I ordered up a Stocky's Alaskan Ti and the Magpul DBM bottom plastic for their Magpul 700 hunter stock.
Paid ~$65 for the Magpul bottom metal with 5 rd magazine.
Paid $285 for the B&C model 2265.

Had to do a bit of rasping, filing, grinding on the stock, but its some type of fiber reinforced plastic foam so it shapes easily.
Had to do some rasping, filing on the plastic bottom metal to remove some of the flanges ect....
Then epoxy bed everything for good fit.
Touch up the fringes with model paint for visual appeal.

Overall was pretty easy. Pillars were just shy of perfect length, so had to float the action on epoxy a little to allow mags to lock up. Floated the action rather than the bottom metal due to action fit in the stock. The fit left a bit to be desired but was easily corrected by bedding.

I didn't intend or notice the Midway add when taking the pic.
