Thank you much. Seemed likely, but would not have any use for an extra set of extra tall anything in my gun parts cabnet.

Had to call Alexander Arms today and tell them to poke their Phantom 17 Hummer Upper in their ass.

Seems like they were used to the notion.(grin)

My extry extry reserve Krunchenticker 'Horn's,will go aboard an extry extry 22 Grendel..................

My Grandfather gave me an old knife box full of Lyman and Williams peep sights before he died. Been keeping my eyes open for gray rat 99's to bolt them to.

Always good to have parts laying around.

Okay, they came in and I installed them...

SWFA fixed 6x, 18" 1/7 223/5.56 barrel, MI handguard, old school stock.

I set it up so it's clear when shouldered, and the charging handle is easy to access. The forward ring is actually mounted out on the handguard.

Does it look right?

Freakin' rings come in an awesome reusable plastic case. Quite the package, no wonder they're expensive.

Threw a 1-4 on there, and was tempted to leave it, but decided this one with the 18" barrel would use the 6x better. I'll just have to find another home for the 1-4...

There was a slight height difference between the hand guard and the upper receiver mounting surface...

...but I mounted it anyhow with 5 inserts in the rear, and 20 in front. Not the whole 40 but I don't shoot that far anyhow.

:D

I'd rather have the inclination remaining in my scope's erector...rather than the box my rings shipped in.(grin)

I use the extry boxes for lotsa things and have piles of them,as they are handy..................
