Anybody play with one yet? I was thinking either one in 7-08 or one in the 6.5 Creed. 120s in either.

What one would you get? Wife will be using it, so recoil might be an issue. I'd just hate to set it down in the woods. Never find it again.

My Baby BR is very Adirondak-esque at 20" and I think more than a touch highly of it. Was hoping The Babiest Montucky woulda been here by now and it's a 6x45(6-223) at 18.5" and twisted 8" for 105's.

I'd rather build,than field anything offered in Adirondak currently. It'd cost less and wear a throat and twist,of my whim.

Tanner fucked me outta a 7-08 a while back and dumped a shit Montana on me... I chopped it up a bit, had the stock painted... Carried it most of this season and really dig it... 18" 308...

Yes Sir... 2775 outta the short barrel... Had 3 clients use it between 275 and 450... Put down a wounded critter at a touch over 800... All in all its working out well...

I like that setup a bunch. I'd ask how you're liking the scope but it wouldn't be on the rifle if you didn't.

2775fps is a nice place to be and where I'm at in a 20" Krunchenticker.................

For a dedicated alpine rifle, do you see any merit to a 10x over a 6x?

A 6x will never drop the ball,because it can't. A 10x is always on the cusp,by design. Add weather and ambient light...it's a 6x slamdunk.

The upside being,there is no downside.................
