I’m sure this 223AI blueprint has a name...
700, 21” recontoured Rem sporter, Stealth DBM, McMillan Mtn Rifle.
This one needed a bunch of action work and was slated for Classic with a Mag Sporter, but I somehow messed up a number and ended up a standard sporter so we switched gears. Bdl to DBM inlet.

Looks really good. Going standard sporter was a good error on that one.

That’s a ptg ball I reshaped to something smaller and more pleasing. I’m going to make some more out of black delrin if anyone wants one.

I have 3-9 and 6X MQs on hand right now, still trying to decide. Playing hide and seek with a new 20 moa rail I know is here somewhere, but will be using the 'horn rings regardless.
I've a good amount of 75 AMAX I can load up, but won't have time to fireform and load same afterward prior to heading back out for work. The barrel is a 7", so I'll be looking to try a variety of the heavier offerings as well when I come back.
My thoughts on this one were toward a decent all around rifle. It also represents my first .223 flavored DBM. I've a couple of the AM mags coming; are you opening them up for additional COAL or running them as is?

If you got accurate mag 5 rounders you will need to open them up. Stuff a couple empties in the mag and open up the front with either a dremel or a chainsaw file. Easy peasy.
