Im going to be building a Vudoo and the A3 looks like it might be a good stock to build it on.I have a couple of A5 stocks but no need for the butt hook.

Of the McM A series stocks the A3 is my favorite.

You may also want to take a look at a Manners T2. Pretty much their version of the A3.

If either had been readily available when Vudoo was building mine, it would've worn either an A10 or a Manners PRS...

As it is, the Greyboe Ridgeback has really impressed me.

For God's sake please don't build one around 6 pounds. If I knew it could be done I'd cave and start ordering shit like a bored housewife.

There's one on their website ready to rock with stick's favorite stock that wouldn't be a bad blueprint.

I would like to have a Kukri contour built and also see if they would spin up a barrel lighter then there ranch contour. The lighter one would either get a classic or game scout mcmillan.

Two guys in my Rimfire Tactical facebook group have Vudoo's that are identical, except the barrels. One has a Proof and the other an Ace barrel. According to their posted weights, it looks like there is roughly 4 lbs, 9 oz difference in the weight.

You could build one using these components and stay under 6lbs I think.

Patriot Valley A5 Stock - 16 oz
Proof Barrel - 44 oz
Action - 32 oz maybe... I can't find the weight listed anywhere

All the weights are approximate, but you get the idea...

I'm thinking ranch at 16, gelcoat classic. Might be a tad ass heavy without the can, should be about perfect with.

Sort of an all-rounder.

After dismissing the PVA stock as wrong for a carry rifle, I landed on the Edge. My resolve is starting to crumble. Won't be long now....

FWIW, Jill was kind enough to mention that they have their "Black Magic", Carbon Fiber stock, which is also on an A-5 pattern, which is 3 lbs, 4 oz, including all of the hardware and butt spacers. She said they also have a non-adjustable model which shaves about 1lb...

$3540 and it can be yours...or mine........grin
