I've used several of them from the SHV's to the NXS on AR's, varmint rifles and such. Never had a problem with them, but I don't flog on'em nearly as much as some here get to do.

I dig the shit out of the 12-42 Benchrest and the 15-55 Competition. The Benchrest is heavy, but the Competition is pretty much the standard in rimfire benchrest.

I would not go with an F1 on it,,but that's just my $0.02 worth. I'm not a fan of front focal
2.5-10x42 will give you 100 MOA on the dial and 30 on the reticle in MOAR

Fixed Fucker will toss you 140+ on the erector and 40 more MOA on the reticle.

Tough to toss that by the wayside..............

'Bout like a stretched version of my Kreedmire. Chopped 'er to 21" and dig it. Less than 34.5 mils to the 2000yd line with a 225yd zero ala 147's. Over 41 Mils are ripe for the pickin'.

It ain't very "fair",but sure as fuck is alotta fun................(grin)

The 223ai brl is actually 20 1/2" from bolt face to end. it's all that other crap that makes it look long

Adding over halfa foota can,do change things and I prolly didn't even notice that..............(grin)

OK
I had a 10x HD and sold it to get two 10x Classics, and haven't regretted it.

The HD has a narrower FOV and the parallax adjustment on mine was incredibly stiff. I did like the turrets better but functionally they're the same. I can't remember a great, if any, difference in glass clarity either.

In my opinion it's not worth the extra $$$.

I have never compared the hd to the other so I can't say if there is any difference or not. the hunter stock is great

The Hunter is a nice pattern, that is very soft shooting.

If the Fixed Fuckers were $800 a pop...they'd still be a STEAL.

Rear parallax for me................

That Hunter stock looks sweet, whats the opinion on it.
It's very good. My favorite in fact.

Edited to add: I use the Mcmillan Hunter version that takes the smaller barrel contours up to a #3 Hart looks good in it in my opinion. The larger Remington hunter will take a varmint and up barrel contour and is probably great too.
