Things have been a bit nutty the last few months, and it dawned on me that I hadn't posted a November rut report.
This year "little brother" got to go on his first hunt with Uncle Dave, Uncle Jim and I.
Was a pretty normal hunt as far as our usual routine (maybe Uncle Dave will tell us a story about the week prior to our arrival?).
Great weather and great company.
He didn't waste time letting us know who was going to be running the boat every day...
We tromped around a fair amount, considering he was pretty good sick, and finally Uncle Dave helped seal the deal by calling a spike in at 65 yds. Ry did good, waited on his shooting sticks until things played out in his favor and poked him in the heart and lungs.
Was a great time and a proud moment...he's earned a repeat invite.
