I never pay that much attn to grooves and how many etc. Looking to order a Pacnor #1 or mtn contour 6.5 barrel to have on hand and know I want an 8 twist. Only question is 3 groove or 5 groove? Have a 3 groove pacnor in 223 and like it a lot but what about the 6.5? Bullets will be 140 vld to 147 eld-m. Thanks for advice.

I'm a 3-Groove Slut and would PN everything,if Greg didn't have so much stuff ready to go,settin' on the shelf. Tough to wait, when you can Dine & Dash.(grin)

I'd order in no other configuration, than the 3-Groovers.................

A bartlein 2b in 6.5 has proven quite nice but looking to cut more weight and a pacnor mtn contour might work better. No rush on this one so may just go 3 groove 8 twist and wait it out. Thanks for confirming 3 grooves.

What's the application/platform? Aren't you wrong handed to boot?

I'm assuming you are not in 26 Nosler Mode?!?(grin)

I think a guy could REALLY have sumptin',by doing a modest lengthed Creed'(no more than 21") and dumping it in a chassis and feeding it DBM. Might could be temptin' to RemAge the bitch and cut to the chase that way...by simply just ordering a turnkey spout, ready to toss aboard same.

Are you tryin' to talk me into a build here?!?..................(grin)

26 Nosler, lol. I bought that 6.5x47 reamer for the last build and damn thing shoots bugholes. Figuring I need one for my own and it'd be lefty. Have a 243 donor I am messing with at present but got it cheap enough that a mtn contour 21" 6.5x47 with DBM would work fine. Figure order the pacnor and twist it on next spring.

Have an MDT LSS chassis or a really nice stiff bansner lightweight that would work for this. Add a 6x ss and run with it.

If righty, it'd be a montana in 6.5 creedmoor. That'd be so easy.

It does check a lot of boxes. Will keep all options open while I wrap up this year I think.

A Montucky simply cain't be whooped.

I look for the RemAge Thang to catch on more than a smidge...especially with guys like Greg crankin' them out..................
