RL-15 vs Varget for 223ai 75gr amax?

Been using RL-15 and H335 with 75 gr amax with very good results.I have never tried varget and was wondering if i was missing anything.

What are you trying to accomplish with changing powders? Faster velocity, more accuracy, cleaner burn, etc.?

I've been using 26.2 gr of RL-15 behind a 75 AMAX. This out of a 22" Rock 5R barrel (1/8 twist) and it gives me 2950 fps with LC brass. I know I might could hit another gear but am happy with it based on our temp swings.

I have been happy with RL-15, 20"rock creek 5R 1/8 twist barrel.Im just curious what other powders are being used.It seems like so many shooters are using varget.

Varget doesn't run for shit through a Dillon. Lever is like water.

My Lever' form loads in a 21" 7" Rock 223AI,are 2950fps.

Hey Stick, LeveRevolution, right? I have a .223AI, I have been running Varget 26.2 grains out of a 22 inch tube. 80 grain Amaxes. Getting 2830 fps. What speed can I safely get with Lever and about what charge?

3000fps+ will come easy,with 'Lever 80's.

'Lever is slower than Varget or '15,so any data you see listed for same...is knowed quantities for extrapolation................

I've been using 26.2 gr of RL-15 behind a 75 AMAX.

I use the same load in my 1-8 22" SS Douglas barrel. May try some Lever.

Lever speeds are real. 3,150 is where I started with my data and that is proving to be a bit slow when confirming at range.

This chambering in a fast twist just does stuff that it shouldn't be able to do. Unreal.

Love the way it meters,it's burning rate and density...as it simply stands alone.............
