Runout issue....

So when i use my redding 6br fl die with either a floating expander or the standard expander i am seeing 4 thou runout in my necks. Switch to my hornady die and between half to two thou. Im suspecting maybe the die nut may not be square and have some sinclair die nuts i think i may try on the redding die. It still induces runout with the expander off as well. Anybody seen this before? Thinking either the nut or the die is out of spec.

Your die down and see if that makes a difference.

I run o-rings on my dies. Seems to help. But also Redding is the only die brand where I’ve received a poorly made die and had to return it. But they did me right, had me send in once fired brass, and made a die for me.

Sounds like a poorly reamed die.
