curious yalls methods for sharpening s30v. i have the spyderco tri-sharpener thingy that ive always used in the past. with shitty cheap carbon steel and softer SS ive always just hit them with the ceramic sticks on a regular basis to keep things razor sharp.

this benchmade says something about sending the knife back to be sharpened, which i hope is just them being overly dramatic.

They will sharpen your knife for free, for life. They will also tune up the hinge, replace bent belt clips ect....

I use a Worksharp belt sander most times, but also a diamond flat stone (fine) or a ceramic/diamond rod.

I worksharp mine. Not that I ever use them anymore though. I take the lazy route and use the disposable blades.

I use a DMT diamond "stone" when things need reset. Otherwise, ceramic stick or diamond stick, or a little plastic diamond file in the field.

Ceramic sticks do a great job as long as you don't let it get dull as hell to begin with

I have the wicked edge system, which is pretty wicked for putting a chrome edge on something if you have the time. However I’m gonna add some paper wheels to my next Grizzly order. My most used are the brass handled ez-lap diamond stick my dad gave me, and a white ceramic stick.

If you want to put a glass smooth edge on a knife you can use 3m sandpaper and progress from 200 grit on down to 2500 grit.

Good for a sushi knife, but maybe not a pocket knife.

Benchmade puts a fairly course edge on thier pocket knives.
