Del, I don't know whether Remington makes one currently, But I've seen 700 LSS models in lefty before. Check gunbroker.

They did make a few lefty LSS standard bolt face, but they're few and hard to come by. If you do see one, it's likely to run you a grand or more.
T3, RAR, Salvage, Browning are your options for SS leftys.

Those are more rare than that bit of good luck would suggest. And more rare at that price point, nice snag. Son got into his magnum action for about that price. I've been stuck using blued with black T on it for my lefty actions.

Apparently the rumored LH stainless actions are finally a reality. I bought this long action, and after a little more searching, 2 short actions yesterday. Like I said, it was an expensive day, but I'm still giggling like a school girl and trying to decide what the first build will be.

I'll buy one of the two short actions from you and we can have competing builds. It'll be great fun. Let me know where to send the funds. Thinking 6mm or 6.5 mm tube for mine on a mtn contour at 21". I'll figure out the stock after I get the action.

Don't be selfish RB, you build a 308 for those core losses and send the other to me.....

I'm now email waiting to be notified on about 4 vendors for those damn things. If you don't sell one to me I'll understand I guess.

Sorry 30338, but I'm gonna be selfish this one time and not even feel bad about it.

The LH is already on the way to the plumber for a 280AI tube to be installed.
Shorties will be used up in a hurry, as soon as I can get parts in hand. Mcmillan compacts ordered, barrels from bugholes are in the shopping cart. Ones a 6 and the other a 7, in 8 and 9 respectively.

I think you are going to like those. Selfish though it seems. What's the 6 going to be?

Have to decide between 243, 243AI or 6-284.
Already have a CDL 243Win, but doesn't shoot heavies well. Still a fun range gun with 87Vmax.
Thinking 243AI as it will probably get carried in pursuit of fur. black bears and caribou seem perfect. Might even stunt shoot a moose.

That'll do. Thinking I want to try a lefty 6x47 Lapua or a 6mm Creedmoor if I can score one of those actions on the next run. Have to start watching for a stock that would work.

Go 22" 1-8" 6-06 ADL.

22" 1-8" 22-250AI DBM.

22" 1-9" 7-08AI DBM...in matching modest contours/shanks...............

Being located 35 miles from the factory, caused me to drink the Kool-aid for a spell as well, but I've been to the Hornady and Barnes rehab clinic since those days.

For pure target work, I haven't found Nosler (Custom Comp. = pure fouling fodder) or Hornady (AMAX = fair accuracy) to hang with Sierra.

I'm too cheap to try Berger but can be convinced at the rate of Sierra's prices.
