Iím still slumming no less than 3 miniís with factory Grendel barrels I bought for donors for 22 and 6 Grendelís. The mags arenít horrid but they are THE stumbling block for me going any further. DIP makes bottom metal and I sure as shit wish theyíd make a floorplate version.

I bet it don't suck. I'd be happier with AR mags in 224 and 243 Grendel,in 264 the AICS will certainly do favors...........

I bought a Howa mini in 223, I thought it had the floor plate, but it came with that ignorant propriety mag. I may get rid of it.

And it fits in one sentence:

Maybe 100 thou is debatable; pick a number.

But these manufacturers still deliver rifles with stocks designed for iron sights and chambered for rounds that hold North of 100 grains of water.
