Bolt lift click

Getting the primary extraction bolt lift click on a .243AI Montana. I've run into this before in my .260 and FL sizing a bit further down was the cure. Problem with the .243AI is I don't wanna bump shoulders any more than it already is and I have 100 already loaded.

I have a buddy machining the center out of a .45 ACP carbide die so I can squeeze the base down a bit more with the hope it will be the answer.

Anyone else run into this?

Doesn't seem to be. This is .243 Lapua brass I shot inthat gun a few times. Necked up to .260 and it clicked there. Shot it a few times and when I bought the .243AI I necked it back down and it has clicked even fire forming. I'm betting it's partly the brass, but on the latest loads it is extra bad. Stops the bolt on the lift and requires a firm hold on the gun. Does it on unfired rounds too just not as bad.

I'll check the chamber today with a paper clip just to see. Ran them through the .45 die and will shoot some today as well.
