Didn’t figure you’d find much to like about the chambering, if it doesn’t dazzle it’ll likely get pulled and turned into a 260.
Haven’t killed any LWs as of yet, been trying to on my 9# WinMag but they’re still solid. Completely understand you’re lack of confidence though.....

I shoot 308's,more than I wanna admit,despite their being an easy pass.
Thus far,I think I've only had (8) sets of LW's puke on my rifles,but everyone I know who schleps same...has a like encounter.
Have yet to have a 1913 failure.....................

Josh, Replacing my worn 6.5-06 tube with 6.5-284 cause I always wanted to try one. It'll be setup nice for 147 eld, 140 vld and maybe give the 156 Eol a run while I am it. Probably leaving this one unsuppressed for now though can't rule out bobbing it later.

I left that out because I didn’t have anything nice to say but it’s a Gunwirks Climmer if I remember correctly.
Upper 2800s with 140 and 147s. Max loads of RL26. Keep having flyers at the end and got tired of dicking with it. New tube will remedy that.
It is a really nice rifle though, overall. I would’ve liked more barrel weight or less stock/optic weight for balance, as it’s a little ass heavy.
His cerakote work is quite nice. Can almost see sending him a rattle canned rig I have to go olive green on. And he has a great introductory price going on for cerakote.
I still laugh,thinking of Pappy,when I told him my FN SPR A1 "had some paint on it". He still cusses me time to time and it only wore (2) cans of Hi-viz Orange.

Shaen's bedding and cerakote are as good/better than any I've had. Looking forward to getting this one out, dies and brass are here, hopefully will get off work in time to shoot a bit this weekend.
Super easy to work with and seems like a damn good dude. I'm sure most of you knew this already though.

That'd be a Kimber 8400, factory stock.
Talley rail for the 8400 is a touch higher than the 84M, which fits me perfect with Seekins lows. Not bad though, don't think I'll change it.
As much as I like the 84s, the 8400 has always felt a little better in my hands. I went with the Mod8400 Lilja, which adds a little more weight out front and feels better to me.

Just got a barrel back from Shaen chambered in 6.5 PRC. 18” Bart 2B that was originally a 6.5 CM he did for a TL3.... 5/8s threads for the muffler. Was a touch leary of going that short in a PRC, but said fuck it and had him do it.
147s over 53.7grs of H4350 wants to give 2890 and shoots well under 1/2 MOA.

Just getting around to shooting the new 7 Mag, didn’t particularly care for the 175 eld-x but is showing a liking for the 140 ttsx. This was the last 5 shots at 200 through the can.
That cut down 308 is also showing promise with the 130ttsx, the last 3 at 100 through the can.
Haven’t given up n the eld-x yet, also have some boogers inbound....
